• Actively participate in Twitter chats. Chatting with others in your field on Twitter is a great way to make build followers and boost your own visibility. People who are following them may also be interested in following you. Chatting will help you reach more people in your targeted market.

• Offer advice. If someone tweets a question you can answer, do it. Answering others and sharing your experience builds your credibility. People like to connect with others that provide useful information. You can brand yourself as an expert in your field and people will consider you a valuable resource.
