SEO Services and Assistance
Search Engine Optimization and Marketing.
We provide assistance with Search Engine Optimization and Marketing but only for the patient website owner. This is often refered to as SEO or SEM services for a shorter name. Improvements in search engine rankings are seen over time. It is not possible to rise up to the top of organic search results overnight for common keyword terms. This is one of the main reasons I am including my Search Engine Optimization and Marketing or SEM Services and Assistance when you subscribe to the Basic Maintenance with SEM Package.
SEO or Search Engine Optimization is the process of making your site more relevant to those seeking information about the services or products you provide. As your site becomes more relevant and popular, it will rise in the results returned to search terms. What makes a site relevant is a combination of many factors that major search engines such as Google and Yahoo consider important.
One of the main things that influences your site's ranking is keyword frequency and placement within your web page. This is considered an on-page factor. Other things affecting site rankings take place off-page such as analysis of quality back-links and click-through measurements.
Other powerful strategies involve building one-way back-links, using social sites such as Facebook and Twitter, submitting regular quality blog entries, commenting on other's blog entries, and article marketing.
Our Search Engine Optimization and Marketing Services work to combine on-page and off-page factors to improve results. It is included at a low price when you subscribe to the Option #2 Maintenance Package. As our capacity to add more strategies grow it is our hope that you will be so delighted with the results you will tell your friends.
To take advantage of our SEM services and assistance contact us by email or phone (302) 504-4409 to begin.
We do not currently offer SEM as a "stand-alone" service. It can only be accessed through the website maintenance package when someone chooses us for their web development needs. As we grow, we may be able to accomodate non-webdesign customers.
Case Study
This is my personal story about one of my first sites.
I created DelawarePCtech.com, a small business in Newark, DE that maintains, upgrades, and fixes personal computers. I did not get any decent pages up on that domain until the end of 2008. I started to actively work on different SEO things I was learning in January of 2009.
Sites are ranked from 0 to 10 in the search engines. This is referred to as page rank or PR. All new sites start with a PR 0. You can only go up from there but if nothing is done with your site to build search relevancy, backlinks, or fresh content then it will remain a PR 0.
For 5 long solid months I juggled a day job, a side business of PC Repairs, training courses, and the actual application of SEO tactics I learned. In May of 2009 I had to take a break and "pause" a lot of my activities because I was having trouble keeping up with the new customers that my site was bringing in. As of this writing, my site is a PR 2. In less then 7 months my site went from a nothing PR 0 to a PR 2. That is a respectable rise in a reasonable amount of time considering I didn't even implement half of what I was learning because I just didn't have the time to keep up.
Over the next few months, I will be re-developing that site and revisiting the optimization aspects. Eventually, I want to see it rise to at least a PR 4.
This web development site, Methodic-Pages, is naturally a PR 0 because I haven't done a thing with it until now (July/2009). It will increase in the rankings and as it does, my SEO and SEM services will then only be provided with a price. So, the hopes for this budding "SEO artist" are to show results to those new website owners willling to give me their business in these initial stages.
